Patient Relations (formerly PALS)

The NHS North Yorkshire and York's Patient Relations Team exists to listen to patients, relatives and carers' comments, offer advice and information, and deal promptly with any concerns you may have about healthcare services.

What can our Patient Relations Team do for you?

Information and Advice

Give you information about your local health services
Inform you about other organisations for specialist advice
Help resolve your enquiry as quickly as possible
Advise you about your options and patients' rights

Help and Support

Put you in touch with other support groups
Refer you to specialist advocates who can support you on a one to one basis
Support you if you wish to become involved in the planning of local NHS Services
Would like to hear your opinion about the services you receive

You can help improve services by telling us about:

Problems or Concerns: Tell us if you have a problem or complaint. Your views will be used to improve services
Praise and Compliments: Let us know if the care or service you receive was good. We will pass on and use your comments to develop services for everyone
